Index > Create/delete a menu item which links to a webpage on the internet

This will let you create a link to sit on your main navigation menu and when clicked on will take you directly to another page on the internet. This is useful if you want to provide a seamless link to a blog (for example www.blogger.com) or a shopping cart system (for example www.shopify.com)

  1. Click on the Editor tab then click on the Manage/Re-order Pages button from the Site drop down menu.
  2. Click on the Add External Link button.
  3. Under the Menu Title field enter the name of the page as you would like it to appear in the main navigation.
  4. Select the Sub-menu that you want the page to appear under. Select Main Menu if you want it to appear on the main navigation menu.
  5. Under the External Page URL field enter the web address of the page you want to create a link to. Please make sure you enter the 'http://' part before 'www'.
  6. Under the target menu choose whether you want the page to load in the same window (Website Window) as the website or as a pop-up (New Window).
  7. Select the status of your link: select 'active' if you want the page to become live or 'draft' if you don't want it to show up on your website.
  8. Press the Save button to save your changes and your link will then appear on the main navigation menu.
